Borba

We stopped at Borba for only one reason: Anthony Borba, our friend back home in the Bay Area. Hoping to send a postcard, we instead found a town made of marble with little or nothing to offer tourists. Folks were friendly, though, and after marveling at all the marble and procuring a Borba brochure (in Portuguese and Spanish) we went on our way.
