Santiago Do Cacem

Welcome to Santa Barbara! The Pousada de Santiago do Cacem, Quinta da Ortiga, is located in a typical Alentejo farm estate. This was to be our fifth and final Pousada stay, and it was just like being in the main house of a large southern California rancho 150 years ago. We kicked back, enjoyed our Porto Noval port sampler, and savoured our last evening before returning to the buzz and bother of Lisbon.
